It is ground and can be avoided, there is a frontal PBAoE which must be cleaned from the tank and the third is a chance cast DoT that hits both players, and must be cleaned quickly. While Phase 1 is essentially an exercise in healing / cleansing, Phase 2 requires everyone to be responsible for their own survival. Radiate burrows when a yellow bubble appears above each player, these bubbles cause huge damage to other players when they meet. To further complicate matters there are red circles that appear, which should be avoided.
A hearty drinker, Captain Black Spit is unleashed large flagon of drink on his back and spit bile when he had his fill. This fight is all about positioning and rift platinum. Captain Black Spits capacity is only the severity of a frontal cone attack that will be a shot that anyone who is not at the top of the list of threats, so that the tank is to keep the boss facing away part (and the party needs to be aware of their position - even though it may look like you are behind the ability of a wide cone, to stack on his back).
The transition between the two phases is quite fast, so be sure to be aware of your position and make everyone's life easier. The next boss, and most entertaining of the proceeding, is Captain Black Spit. There is also a ground of AoE component which must be avoided and adds that spawn randomly. Stay on your toes and burn rapidly added to an easy victory. Cinderstorm is a fun fight with two mechanics and a fairly easy component DPS race. Engage Cinderstorm where he is in the middle of the room, you will notice a pattern of fire appear on the ground, this ring of fire will turn around the bump and should be avoided.
The senior engineer to be dealt with here is an ash storm, an ability that causes balls of energy to burn in his room, killing anyone in their sights. Ranged DPS and the healer can stand in the door initial and rift gold, while melee and tanks will need to address in one of the alcoves of the room to avoid that. After casting capacity seconds LoS a ring of fire appears around the outer edge of the room and starts moving towards the center. Everyone should avoid this ring as it wills insta-gib you. Burn the boss down quickly to avoid a wipe.
